Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Purpose: The Certified Facilitator with a CADC-I license will lead group therapy sessions, provide education on substance abuse and recovery, and support clients in developing coping skills. This role is integral to the success of our treatment programs, offering guidance and support to individuals as they navigate their recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on substance abuse, recovery, and relapse prevention.
- Conduct educational workshops and seminars on topics related to addiction, recovery, and coping strategies.
- Develop and implement curriculum for group sessions, ensuring it is evidence-based and relevant to clients' needs.
- Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other team members to provide integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of group sessions and client progress.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (CADC-I or CATC) license.
- Proven experience facilitating group therapy sessions, particularly in a substance abuse treatment setting.
- Strong knowledge of addiction, recovery processes, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and group facilitation skills.
- Ability to engage clients and create a supportive group dynamic.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
