Job Title: Journeyman Ironworker

Position Overview: We are seeking skilled and experienced Journeyman Ironworkers to join our team. As a Journeyman Ironworker at Kodiak, you will play a vital role in constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing steel structures and components. This position does pay per diem 

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components with precision and attention to detail.
• Safely operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machinery.
• Rig, hoist, and position steel members into place using cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment.
• Perform bolting, riveting, and other connection techniques to secure structural components.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent training in ironworking.
• The minimum of 6 years of Ironworking experience or certification or relevant trade certification.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, layout, and fabrication techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in structural steel erection, welding, and rigging.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in construction environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Physical strength, stamina, and agility to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting and working at heights.
