A strong candidate for this position will have experience working with seniors, managing an assisted living facility, and multitasking in high stress environments. The right candidate will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, conflict resolution skills, time management skills, and customer service skills.

The Executive Director for our Senior Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility is responsible for the management, leadership, well-being, and success of the community. The ideal Executive Director will strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the senior residents that they serve, while also inspiring a higher level of performance within our leadership team. The Executive Director is expected to oversee all departments and managerial needs of the facility, while creating a company culture that aligns with the agency’s mission and values.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to…

- Coordinate and lead a team of department heads and director staff to ensure smooth facility management and high standards of excellence.

- Ensure state regulatory compliance codes and standards are met

- Maintain proper fiscal management and budgetary guidelines

- Support the development of services to promote constant growth within the organization and stay competitive within the industry.

- Sets high standards and clearly communicates those standards between all levels of staff, volunteers, residents, families, and third parties.

- Builds a strong relationship with residents and communicates positively with their families.

- Serves as the first point of contact for agency owners and investors.

- Displays operational decision making and strongly leads in the event of an emergency.
