JOB SUMMARY

As a Block Nocturnist ARNP you will have the schedule: 8pm - 8am block schedule, 7 nights on /7 nights off.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  1. Examine patients and record history
  2. Adhere to proper charting protocols
  3. Discuss with Physician and other health care professionals to prepare comprehensive plan
  4. Order or execute tests or images as needed
  5. Submit health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review by Physician
  6. Analyze results of tests, diagnose and report to patient
  7. Administer or prescribe treatment and medications
  8. Promote health by advising patient on diet, hygiene and prevention of disease
  9. Inoculate and vaccinate as required
  10. Refer to specialist as required for patient's well-being
  11. Report deaths and contagious diseases to governmental authorities
  12. Other responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Must have and maintain current State of Florida license in good standing
  2. Florida DEA License (if applicable)
  3. Current National Board Certification
  4. BLS Certification
  5. Must have working in the hospital setting within the past 12 months
