Qualifications:  Must have excellent communication skills, organizational and team building skills along with proven leadership and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned. (Includes weekends/ Nights/ and holidays) as scheduled. Position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D.  Candidate must be able to pass extensive background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain gaming license and must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • The Casino Slot Attendant is responsible for overall guest service on the casino floor. They are to answer guest questions, explain games, fix machine malfunctions, key jackpots, monitor for suspicious activity. Any questions or concerns should be directed to your immediate supervisor for clarification.      
  • Help guests locate areas and direct them to machine locations.
  • Explain to guests how games are played.
  • Fix machine malfunctions, clear paper jams, fill printer paper, help with stuck tickets and money jams.
  • Do manual payouts, reboot machines when screens freeze up, resolve discrepancies with both money and/or machine tickets.
  • Key machine for jackpots.
  • Responsible for monitoring guests for suspicious activity.              
  • Get drinks for guests, ask them how they’re doing and if they’re having fun, cheer them on to make them feel special when they win, and page for lost party members.
  • Help keep the casino clean and the appearance professional.
  • Insures that internal and external guest service standards are always number one.
  •  Get Poker/Blackjack cashiers out at the end of shift, verify countdown of money and chips. Check and sign paperwork.
  • Make sure all machines are maintained and in working order and stock tickets in center and help stock fountain machines.
  • Fill out proper paperwork for manuals, reprints, lost money/tickets, and customer discrepancy reports.
  • Knowledge of Mics/Tics and ability to recognize inconsistency that could lead to violations.
  • Constant mental alertness is needed.
  • Interacts with guests in a pleasant, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Be courteous and professional at all times to co-workers, guests, vendors or anyone you may have contact with while on duty.
  • Must wear your gaming badge at all times while on duty or doing business in the casino.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate or controlling supervisor.
