Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager with a strong focus on HVAC and piping systems, coupled with business development experience. The successful candidate will oversee project execution from inception to completion, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency, while also driving business growth through strategic client engagement and acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage HVAC and piping projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate project teams, including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet industry standards, client specifications, and company quality guidelines.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and prepare financial reports.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project delivery and business development strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the HVAC and piping sectors, with a proven track record in business development.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape within the HVAC and piping industry.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
