Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Brockton, MA. This temporary role, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position, focuses on order entry within a Long-Term Care (LTC) mail order pharmacy environment. If you have pharmacy technician experience and are adept at order entry, wed love to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter medication orders into the system according to prescription details and guidelines.
- Verify and review orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation of all orders processed.
- Support other pharmacy tasks as needed, including working rotating weekends.
Shift Details:
- Shift Hours: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Order entry experience is preferred.
- Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License.
- PTCB Certification is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
