Transport Specialist

Looking for caring people who want to help others, Quality Transport NEMT, LLC is a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation company, is continuing to expand in the Carolinas. We are looking for experienced drivers. Ideal candidate can work unsupervised while maintaining the highest standard of care. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and warm demeanor are a plus. Being friendly, having a positive attitude and eager to learn with a professional appearance are also essential to this position. Must be able to multitask while maintaining punctuality.

Essential Duties:

Safe and timely transport of clients (both wheelchair and non-wheelchair users) to scheduled medical appointments.
Navigate GPS device to ensure on time arrivals and pick ups.
Assist clients, as needed, in and out of facility or home into transport vehicle.
Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
The driver must be able to demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.

Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Relevant industry/driving experience preferred.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
A valid drivers license and clean driving history.
Familiarity working with and adapting to technology for access of schedules and GPS navigation.
Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
Ability to pass initial and random background check and drug screen.
Frequent sitting, standing, bending, walking, climbing in and out of transport vehicle.
Must be able to lift and maneuver minimum of 35-50 lbs.
Flexible schedule as there will be some weekend/evenings word required.
Have access to and be familiar with a Smart Phone.
Strong work ethic.
Must be able to pass DOT physical.
Must be at least 25 years of age.'
