Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Membership Coordinator to join our team. The Membership Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and growing our membership base, ensuring that our members are engaged, supported, and connected to the resources they need. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about community building and has strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

    •    Manage and maintain the membership database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    •    Develop and implement strategies for member recruitment, retention, and engagement.
    •    Serve as the primary point of contact for current and prospective members, addressing inquiries and providing support.
    •    Organize and coordinate member events, meetings, and webinars.
    •    Monitor membership trends and provide regular reports to the leadership team.
    •    Collaborate with the communications team to create content for newsletters, social media, and other outreach efforts aimed at members.
    •    Assist in the development and management of membership benefits and services.
    •    Foster relationships with members to understand their needs and enhance their experience with our organization.
    •    Process membership applications, renewals, and payments.

Qualifications:

    •    Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
    •    Previous experience in membership management, customer service, or community engagement.
    •    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    •    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and membership management software (e.g., Salesforce, Wild Apricot).
    •    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    •    Passion for the mission of The Empowerment Network Inc. and a commitment to serving our members.
