QC Inspector

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00 /hourly
Location: Oakdale, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm
Job Description:We are looking for an experienced mechanically oriented Quality Inspector. They will need knowledge of blue print reading/interpretation, mechanical measurement equipment, calibration and strong leadership skills. In addition, this position will require knowledge of Precision CNC turning/lathe equipment.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Perform visual and physical tests on samples to identify defects or deviations from specifications
• Record and report inspection results and communicate any concerns or issues to the appropriate departments
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality control issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain and update quality control documentation and records

Education: AA degree preferable with formal course work/training in Precision quality control
Qualifications:

• General manufacturing and machine shop practice in JIT mode
• Machining
• Quality inspection
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and persistence.
• Organized, prepared, and results-oriented; a self-starter.
