Our Campus Connect Member Service Representative delivers exceptional service while assisting members with their financial needs. We are looking for a candidate that possesses the following skills; a high school diploma or equivalent and keyboarding skills. In addition, we are looking for the ability to foster financial literacy, decision-making skills and a team player. They use their knowledge and pro-active problem solving skills to educate members about our products and services. Team Neches continues to be true to the credit union commitments. We are Family, Friends, Community.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of experience on Lamar University Campus; strong knowledge of campus grounds
- At least 1 year of experience working with the community, building relationships or equivalent customer service experience
- Networking and relationship-building skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism
- Ability to work independently
- Friendly, positive, energetic, outgoing
- Dependable; punctual and regular attendance
- Willingness to learn new processes
JOB SUMMARY:
- Representing Neches FCU at Lamar University’s campus, ensuring visibility and awareness of our branch
- Educating and informing the Lamar community about our products and services available at the Branch
- Supporting business development initiatives on campus and collaborating with the Community Impact team to assist with various campus events.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with Lamar students, faculty, and staff.
- Delivering exceptional member service by answering inquiries and resolving members concerns promptly and effectively
- Providing guidance and information to members on ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) services
- Logging and tracking account openings
- Monitoring inventory levels of promotional materials specific to Lamar University
- Conducting end-of-day balancing and processing tasks
- Completing various transaction reports
- Other duties as assigned
Classification: Non-exempt
Location: Lamar University Branch (Beaumont)
Hours: Scheduled for no more than 29 hours per week: Monday through Friday 10:00AM to 2:00PM with occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
