Tree Climber Responsibilities
- Physical ability to climb trees and work aloft
- Experience with tree pruning and removal best management techniques
- Familiarity with safety standards and equipment usage
- Knowledge of tree species and their growth patterns
- Must be able to work in some inclement weather conditions safely
- Trim, top, and reshape trees to achieve attractive shapes and to remove low-hanging branches
- Adhere to all ANSI, OSHA and company guidelines
- Properly cut branches from trees, using chainsaws, handsaws, clippers, etc.
- Drag brush, move logs, and run ropes as needed
- Experience with tree removals, and rigging
- Prune trees to achieve attractive and structural soundness
- Ability to identify hazards and prevent damage to persons or property during tree trimming and removal operations
- Directs all personnel working within drop zone
- Coordinates with partner to chip brush as necessary
- Assists other climbers with equipment and roping techniques
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required
- Daily equipment inspection and maintenance

Tree Climber skills
- Bucket Truck operation
- Arial lift operation
- SRT & MRT climbing techniques
- Ability to use various hand tools
- Adherence to Safety Procedures including aerial rescue techniques
- Adherence to ANSI Safety Standards
- Knowledge of rigging, chainsaw, and chipper operations
- Team Player
- Customer Service Oriented
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have at least 3-5 Years of climbing experience
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background screening
- (Preferred) ISA Certified Arborist or ISA Certified Climber or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

- $17-$25 per
