FOSTER Family & Sports CHIROPRACTIC is seeking a health conscious, high energy, motivated, outgoing self-starter and problem solver to perform clinical note taking, greet patients, answer phones, schedule and assure patients with a smile. Job also involves brainstorming and implementation of social media and marketing ideas to help our practice grow.

This position is challenging yet enjoyable for someone interested in natural healthcare and is one of the most important positions in a chiropractic office. Our office is a place where you will be attending to the needs of the patients of two chiropractors. You must also have a head for numbers and detail. Your ability to follow procedures precisely is also very important.

Honesty, dependability, and computer savvy a must and front desk or client service experience mandatory.

Hours:

FULL TIME (approximately 37+ hours available per week)

Monday, Tues, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm

(closed Thursdays)

ALL SHIFTS HOURS MAY VARY AT END OF SHIFT DEPENDENT ON PATIENT VOLUME FOR THE DAY

Job Details

Answering phones and scheduling appointments and performing recalls.
Welcome patients as they contact the center personally or by telephone, and explain the services available, payment categories, and billing procedures
Interfacing with billing manager and inputting EOB's
Greeting patients with a smile and making them feel comfortable.
Schedule appointments; direct walk-in patients and emergencies as per established policies and procedures
Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately.
Collecting daily office events for social media & education
Reviews and verifies patient coverage of insurance with tracking if required
Collects care plan fees or co-pays/deductibles prior to the patient being seen by the provider per established policies and procedures. Inform patient of their outstanding balance, collect said balance, and issue cash receipt when monies are collected
Computer Data Entry
Call and remind patient of his/her appointment. Follow ups on patients on a daily basis.
Work closely with Doctor and Billing Staff to assure smooth patient flow and keep waiting time less than 15 minutes.
Helping with special events--mailings, etc.
Public Relations to help promote the office
Shall be given the authority to commensurate with responsibility delegated
Is directly responsible to the Doctor
Other related duties as the job requires such as:
Maintaining Accurate Chart Files
Preparing new patient preplans
Assisting with Insurance Verification
Preparing Daily Clinical Notes for 2 doctors
Understanding of Chiropractic Terminology
Supporting the doctor's office and practice goals

Excellent telephone skills & etiquette. (confident on phone or confrontational patient interactions) while many things are happening at once.
Knowledge of billing, insurance, coding, and office functions
Promotes and believes in Chiropractic Health Care.
