Employee is responsible for the design/ support, documentation, engineering, of existing & manufacturing of products. Therefore, knowledge in drafting (GD&T), CAD (AutoCAD Inventor), ERP & Engineering Change Control are important.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Support designs using AutoCAD Inventor software program(s).
Modify or revise designs to correct deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
Perform tolerance analysis and dimensional check on drawings, as necessary.
Execute engineering change requests, as needed.
Complete all required documentation for assembly drawings, as well as part detail drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and GD&T standards in the AutoCAD Inventor CAD program and Solidworks
Support manufacturing and assembly personnel, when needed.
Manage ERP data entry for all Engineering data required.
Consult with the Technical Applications Manager, to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products for development.
Coordinate with Production personnel in creating manufacturing/assembly/inspection support, documentation.
