This role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and contribute to the growth of our online sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Listing Creation and Management:
- Create detailed and compelling product listings on eBay and other marketplaces, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the descriptions.
- Research and implement effective keywords to optimize listings for search visibility.
- Regularly update listings to reflect any changes in product availability, pricing, or promotional offers.
- Sales Management:
- Monitor eBay and other marketplaces sales and ensure that orders are processed and fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers regarding any inquiries, concerns, or issues, providing excellent customer service.
- Handle returns, refunds, and any post-sale issues according to company policy.
- Inventory Management:
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with the ops team to ensure products are in stock.
- Update inventory records in Excel, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize Excel to analyze sales data, generate reports, and identify trends to optimize future listings.
- Use Excel formulas to calculate pricing, discounts, and profitability.
- Technical Skills:
- Utilize basic HTML to format eBay listings and ensure they are visually appealing and functionally sound.
- Keep up with eBay's platform and other marketplaces updates and best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via eBay messages or email.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues swiftly and effectively.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously seek ways to improve listing quality, sales processes, and customer experience.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computers, including managing files, navigating the internet, and using eBay's, Facebook, TikTok and other marketplaces platforms.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong math skills, with the ability to calculate pricing, margins, and discounts accurately.
- Excel Proficiency: Solid experience with Excel, including knowledge of formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
- HTML Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML to create and edit eBay or other marketplaces listings.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure listings are accurate, professional, and error-free.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions quickly.
Experience:
- Previous experience managing eBay listings or similar e-commerce platforms is preferred.
- Experience in customer service or sales is an advantage.
