Staff Accountant | Full time
Englewood, NJ | Fully On-site

Our client is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their team

*Salary listed is dependent upon experience*

Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using Excel and SAP Hana, SAP FICO.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to APAR processes.
- Manage and process accounts receivables and accounts payables transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor account balances, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues.
- Prepare and record receivables and payables in SAP (Hana Cloud).
- Perform reconciliations of accounts receivables and accounts payables.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Utilize Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions to analyze and manipulate financial data.
- Familiarity with SAP Hana cloud version for financial data management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a small core team.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or accounting experience in retail or e-commerce.
