Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description: As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a critical role in our production process, ensuring the precise bending and forming of metal components. If you have a keen eye for detail, can interpret technical drawings, and are committed to producing high-quality parts, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Bystronic press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select and install the appropriate tooling and dies based on job requirements.
- Make necessary machine adjustments to ensure accurate and consistent bending angles and dimensions.
- Monitor the production process, inspect parts for quality, and make real-time adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machines to ensure they operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to resolve production issues and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document and record job information, including setup details, production counts, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator, with a preference for Bystronic press brake machines.
- Knowledge of Bysoft 7 Software is a plus.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to accurately measure and inspect parts.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Prior knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to workplace safety.
