***HIRING DIE SETTER***

Direct hire opportunity. The Die Setter is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining dies on presses and other machinery to ensure efficient production operations. The Die Setter ensures that all tooling is installed correctly and that machines are running smoothly to meet production specifications and safety standards.

  • Location: Conroe, TX 77306
  • Hours: Dayshift
  • Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Die Setup and Adjustment:

  • Install, align, and secure dies in presses according to production specifications.
  • Adjust and set machine controls to regulate the molding of parts.
  • Perform test runs and inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy.

Machine Operation:

  • Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or issues.
  • Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality and meet production goals.
  • Collaborate with machine operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Perform routine maintenance on dies and presses, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dies, presses, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for complex repairs or adjustments.

Safety Compliance:

  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during die setup and operation.
  • Ensure that all equipment is operated safely and that safety devices are functioning correctly.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of die setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
  • Document any issues or deviations from production standards and report them to supervisors.
  • Participate in production meetings and provide input on process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in die setting or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 4+ years of experience in Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of press operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to die setting and press operation.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy tools and materials and work in a manufacturing environment.
