The Infrastructure Administrator with extensive experience in administering Azure Cloud and Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure. This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our cloud-based systems and services.

 

RESPONSIBILITES

·         Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

·         Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within the Microsoft 365 environment.

·         Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components. Implement and oversee Azure policies, security measures, and compliance protocols. Monitor and optimize Azure resources to ensure high availability and performance.

·         Maintaining and configuring network hardware – switches, routers, understanding network topology.

·         Daily system monitoring, performance, and troubleshooting.

·         Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure system integrity and security.

·         Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing.

·         Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and other IT staff.

·         Setup and deploy new hardware and software.

·         Maintaining firewall best security practices. Experience in FortiGate and Cisco, a plus.

·         Maintaining user devices through Intune.

·         Ensure security architectures comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., CCPA, HIPAA).

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in administering Azure Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 environments.

·         Solid understanding of cloud concepts including domain registration, DNS, SSL certificates, email flow, spam filtering, and Microsoft exchange.

·         Experience in Windows environment – Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, CA.

·         Experience with infrastructure management tools and best practices.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to manage cloud systems for multiple worksites and remote workstations.

·         Experience with VMWare virtualized environments, a plus.

·         Experience with local and cloud backups.

·         AWS, Google Cloud platform, a plus.
