Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc., (GCH); parent company of Bema, and Elite Extrusion Technology, recognized leading suppliers to the packaging industry; is looking for an experienced IT Administrator with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. The IT Administrator position will support our facilities in both Elmhurst and St. Charles, Illinois.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages IT Department in all phases. Develops and executes plans that support organization’s IT needs
  • Ensures proper functioning of the information processing system and oversees necessary upgrades
  • Aligns hardware, software and associated peripherals with organizational requirements
  • Creates and implements a design for the storage of maintenance of data
  • Develops approaches for warehouse implementation, data acquisition and archive recovery
  • May evaluate new data sources for adherence to quality standards and ease of integration
  • Provides technical assistance to end-users by answering questions or troubleshooting issues;
  • Documents interactions with end users and recommends improvements
  • Responsible for evaluating operational efficiency of different IT systems
  • Support, design, maintain and monitor internal and external networks. Resolves network performance issues and establishes disaster recovery plan
  • Recommends upgrades, patches and new application and equipment
  • May be required to offer consultation to senior leadership
  • Relies on professional discretion to achieve goals
  • Perform other related duties to contribute to the success of the company as assigned.
  • ERP/Sabre Administration
  • Provide help desk support to all Bema and Elite employees
  • Status and Monitoring of Network
  • Ensure both companies are compliant and secure internally and externally
  • Provide employee documentation for workflows and troubleshooting
  • Ensure connectivity to employees outside of the network
  • Writing Crystal Reports and QlikView Reports for Business Intelligence
  • Maintaining MIS system and troubleshooting user/system issues
  • Remote support
  • Backup and Hardware repair
  • Workflow writing in Esko Automation Engine (Java)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of both Mac OS and Windows OS (Linux a plus)
  • Knowledge of EFI Radius and implementation
  • Good knowledge of Domain structure in a Windows environment
  • Ability to implement effective group policies to the domain
  • Ability to manage projects with a budget
  • Network connectivity and planning
  • Database knowledge (SQL preferred)
  • Problem solving ability in a group structure
  • Helps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed. Participating Member of the Product Safety team
