Recycle Services is seeking a detail-oriented Scale Clerk to join our team. This role will primarily involve handling daily data entry tasks, generating scale tickets for inbound and outbound trucks, completing weekly reports, managing purchase orders (POs), and processing expenses. Additionally, the Scale Clerk will provide essential support to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, proficient in administrative tasks, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

**This position will start out as part time but will eventually become full time if need be**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Generate scale tickets for inbound and outbound trucks.
  • Compile and complete weekly reports as required.
  • Submit and manage purchase orders (POs) for purchasing department.
  • Enter and process expenses accurately and timely.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; capable of creating spreadsheets and basic reports.
  • Good with computers; comfortable learning new software and systems.
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Dependable and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration or related field is a plus.
