Mid-Level CNC Programmer

The Production Department at Andros Engineering is looking for a CNC Lathe Programmer. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a professional metal shop operating a CNC Lathe, Plasma Cutter, and Manual Machines commonly found in metal shops.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily operation of the CNC machinery.
- Purchase tools and supplies for the CNC machinery
- Program, set up, and operate the CNC machinery.
- Conduct design changes and/or optimization for CNC machinery manufacturable and laser components.
- Consult with Operations Division Manager on potential new large system asset purchases as it relates to advanced manufacturing capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Proficient in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, Genius.
- Excellent internal and external communications.
- Proficient use of CNC applicable 3D solid modeling and programming, such as SolidWorks and Fusion 360.
- Ability to analyze data of various sorts of decision making.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Position is hourly with wages based on experience ($25-$35/hr.)
