Sunbelt Staffing has partnered with a nationwide home health agencyto hire a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Contract Details:

  • Hiring Company: Sunbelt Staffing
  • Client: nationwide home health agency
  • Location: Greensboro, NC
  • Position Type: Full-time, 13-week contract
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with occasional weekends and on-call duty typically once per month)
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k available after 90 days of employment, weekly pay

Requirements:

  • Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN)license
  • Active American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience
  • Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase software

Job Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental factors, to develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, IV therapy, and post-operative care, while ensuring patient comfort and safety in their home environment.
  • Conduct regular patient visits to monitor health status, assess progress, and provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, social workers, and physicians, to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records, adhering to regulatory standards and agency policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and promote best practices in home health care.

Note: Due to the nature of this contract position, only candidates with experience in OASIS and Homecare Homebase will be considered.
