Construction Manager/Superintendent

Seeking eager person who is motivated, responsible and willing to learn and grow with our company. Able to provide on the job training if need be.

Job Description

Monitors construction to make sure work is being completed according to schedule and budget.

Reviews plans, specs, construction cost data and other contract documents to identify and point out errors, omissions, code violations and design inadequacies.

Ensures the jobs run smoothly, on time and in budget.

Provides access to projects and/or coordinates with subcontractors, inspectors, architects, owners, and/or tenants for access to project space and other spaces inherent to the project

Completes daily field reports, weekly site safety audits, 3 week look-aheads and other paperwork as needed.

Assist field employees with projects as needed.

Reliable truck needed in order to carry tools and a ladder, as well as to travel from jobsite to jobsite.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of the principles and practices of building construction, including equipment, tools and materials.

Knowledge of safety precautions in the work place.

Ability to determine by inspection that specifications and requirements are being met.

Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.

Ability to work under extreme hot or cold weather conditions with extreme dust or dirt.

Ability to maintain favorable public relations.

Ability to coordinate with subs to clean and keep the jobsite safe and clean in addition to completing daily final construction sweeps, vacuuming, organization of materials, etc…

May be required to bend and reach.

May be required to climb ladders.

Must be required to stand for a minimum of six hours per day.
