Staffing Specialist

Abacus Solutions Group Lebanon, Tennessee, United States (On-site)

Abacus Solutions Group is seeking a Staffing Specialist to join our team in Lebanon, TN. The Staffing Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the staffing department. This position will work with the HR team to ensure a smooth and efficient staff management and recruiting process. This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws, internal company policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the staffing department including: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, and termination of staff.
  • Assist in the development of company policies and procedures.
  • Perform employee onboarding and conduct training sessions.
  • Coordinate with HR team on employee matters including benefits, compensation, scheduling, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, internal company policies, and HR department procedures.
  • Coordinate performance management with the Director of Human Resources.
  • Assist in the development of company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Human Resources or Management

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of Staffing/recruiting experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within a company; may require interaction with external community as well.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks effectively; may require interaction with external community as well.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required; intermediate.
  • Proficiency in Google Site (Gmail, Docs) require
