Qualifications

Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture with 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.

Candidate must have:

  • Good working knowledge of landscape construction documents
  • Ability to prepare cost estimates
  • Assist in graphic presentations
  • Basic understanding of design principles
  • Knowledgeable in regional landscape materials and construction practices

Strong design and graphic capabilities with construction knowledge a plus

Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, SketchUp and Lumion.

Ideal candidate possesses park and/or highway landscape architect design experience. As well as National Park Service (NPS) / National Forestry Service (NFS) business development experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to prepare cost estimates
  • Assist in graphic presentations
  • Understanding of design principles
  • Preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
  • Significant client and public-agency interactions

Business Development Responsibilities

  • Increase brand recognition and financial growth
  • Maximize client contacts throughout the development industry
  • Attend conferences, meetings and industry events
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Ability to be proactive and flourish with minimal guidance
