We are currently seeking a highly qualified pharmacist for a 13+ week assignment at our retail and compounding pharmacy located in Fairfield, Ohio. This role involves working the 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 12:00am.

Position Details:

  • Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday)
  • Hours: 4:00pm - 12:00am

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks, ensuring accuracy in data entry, efficient workflow, and adherence to security protocols.
  • Oversee the processes of ordering and prepacking managed by pharmacy technicians.
  • Review and verify all new medication orders for appropriate dosage, potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing.
  • Support the proper ordering, handling, documentation, and storage of controlled substances, maintaining an accurate perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.

Qualifications:

  • A valid and active pharmacist license in Ohio is required.
  • Experience in a high-volume or compounding pharmacy environment is highly desirable.
