We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Desk Agent to join our team and provide top-tier support to our valued clients. Position: Service Desk Agent

Location: South Jordan, UT

6 - months contract
$18.00 to $21.00 per hour

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users contacting our IT Service Desk.
  • Provide exemplary customer service while answering incoming calls and addressing user inquiries.
  • Track all information in our call tracking system and utilize knowledge-based tools to resolve issues promptly.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and a sense of urgency to resolve user issues effectively.
  • Produce accurate and detailed documentation at the client, problem, and incident levels.
  • Assess, triage, research, and resolve incidents and requests related to enterprise software and hardware.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed under general oversight.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, attention to detail, and teamwork focus in a high-pressure environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support all aspects of client needs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Install, modify, clean up, and repair computer hardware, peripherals, and software as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Two to five years of proven work experience in a complex, high-tech, and fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience in a technical support role but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED with relevant work experience.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly in a complex environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
