Facility Operator/ Truck Yard Attendant

Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm / 4:00 pm – some weekend work may be mandatory
Hourly Pay Rate : $19.00 / hr
Work Location : Riverside, CA 92504

We are looking for a candidate who is willing to provide exceptional service for our client located in Riverside and their customers as a facility operator in a truck yard. This is NOT a warehouse position. Candidate will be tasked with various responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

- Attending and assisting with truck deliveries and pick-ups of fuel, chemicals, and fluids.

- Will be asked to track inventory, sign for deliveries, and monitor all product.

- Open valves for tanks and connect hoses for loads.

- Operate safety equipment that requires safety cages and monitoring fluid levels for tanks.

- Working with rail carts and conveyors for containers of fluids.

- Familiarity with filling out and verifying BOLs as well as safety/maintenance checklists for machines/filters.

- Must be mechanically inclined, as filters on tanks/equipment require changing, opening/closing. Not a high degree of difficulty, does not need to bring tools.

- When not assisting customers or loading/unloading, responsible for keeping a clean worksite
 
- Basic computer knowledge to submit daily reports to corporate office.

- Shipping/Receiving Clerk as well as supervisor/manger experience is a plus

- Must be able to work independently as there is only 1 other employee on-site

- Candidate needs work boots. Does not need to be composite or steel toes but cannot report to work in sneakers or casual footwear.
