A real estate investment and property management firm in Lakeland, FL, is seeking a Leasing Property Management Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager with administrative tasks, provide leasing assistance, conduct property inspections, and help market vacant units to potential tenants. The ideal candidate should possess a valid Real Estate License.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assists in the leasing process by marketing vacant units to prospective tenants, conducting property tours, screening applicants, communicating rent rates, and preparing lease agreements
  • Responds promptly and courteously to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests
  • Fosters positive relationships with tenants to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention
  • Performs various administrative duties such as maintaining accurate records, completing applications, preparing reports, processing lease renewals, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs
  • Addresses any maintenance issues promptly and coordinates repairs as needed
  • Provides support to the Property Manager in day-to-day operations, including budgeting, vendor management, and any other tasks as assigned
  • Ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing leasing and property management activities


Who We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Prior experience in property management, leasing, real estate, or related field
  • Valid Real Estate License strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment


What You Can Expect

  • $17.00 - $18.00/hr, depending on experience
  • Commission of $100 per lease offered to employees who possess a valid Real Estate License
  • Regular schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
