Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur retail safety client is looking to hire an HR Generalist/Coordinator to cover for a long-term leave of absence starting in May 2024 through October 2024. The position will be onsite 3-4 days a week in Pipersville with flexibility 1-2 days a week from home.
Hours 40 per week; 8 am to 5 pm (can be flexible)
Dress Code - Business Casual
Salary $25+ per hour based on skills, education and experience
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Generate offer letters and send communications to candidates
- Assist with new hire paperwork; prepare orientation tools and packets;
- Maintain job requisition detail in ATS (iCIMS)
- Conduct and coordinate applicant testing components
- Create job postings, post jobs and keep postings updated based on recruiting strategy established by designated recruiter for each position;
- Coordinate and schedule on-site and/or virtual interviews with hiring managers
- Scan/file historical hard copy records of employee files, help to sort filing system onsite
- Update and maintain landing page of announcements/news/awards, etc. in UKG
- Create and run reports from HRMS as requested.
- Help to plan and coordinate Wellness events in alignment with Wellness Committee and strategy
- Support of safety committee activity
- Help to coordinate special employee events in collaboration with other HR Department members;
- Print certificates, deliver certificate and pin to appropriate manager, and maintain record of all nominations
- Prepare expense reports and credit card reconciliations for department expenses;
- Generate ID Badges, key fobs, intake of new hire paperwork
- Generate employee notices and paperwork, such as FMLA eligibility records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, I/O Psychology, or a related degree preferred. Prior internship or other experience in the field of human resources a plus, but not required. Prior experience with a HRMS is preferred, but not required;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Advanced computer literacy is required; proficiency at the intermediate level in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information is required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Keen sense of urgency, and has the ability to prioritize tasks
- Focus on time management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Possess basic understanding and knowledge in human resources functional areas
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team wit a collaborative mindset
- Interact effectively with employees at all levels throughout the organization
