Preconstruction Project Manager

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 5-8+/- years of experience in construction (pre-construction and/or construction)
- Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, +/-5 ranging in value from $2 million to $5 million
Preferred Qualifications:
- Institutional/Higher Ed experience
- California State University (CSU) experience
- Experience working for a general contractor on construction projects is a plus
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Role is as a preconstruction project manager (PM) of multiple projects
- PM will carry projects through design development and permitting
- PM will bid projects and process construction contracts
- Obtain quotes from designers, vendors, consultants, etc. and execute agreements
- Review all contract documents and ensure all appropriate CSU procedures are used
- Manage consultant budgets and timelines
- When ready, projects are handed over to a construction management team
