About the Job:

The Nutrition Group has an open position of Part-time Delivery Driver at the Beaufort County School District.

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 06:00 am – 12:00 pm

Duties will include:

  • Food and cafeteria products delivery (both food and non-food related) to all BCSD cafeterias within the school district.
  • Pulling requested products from warehouse for delivery to various schools.
  • Assisting with putting orders away in stockroom, cooler, and freezer at both our warehouse location and schools where deliveries are being made. Ensuring items are organized in correct locations and proper order when putting orders away.
  • Ensuring stockroom, cooler, and freezer at warehouse location are swept clean and kept organized.
  • Performing regular vehicle inspections and ensuring deficiencies are addressed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Duties may include:

  • Transporting vehicles to various locations for repair work or other appointments.
  • Driving shuttle van to transport hourly workers either to their work assignment or from their work assignment.

Abilities required:

  • Ability to drive and reverse refrigerated straight box truck between 20 – 30 Foot in length.
  • Ability to drive vans of various sizes (both cargo and passenger vans).
  • Ability to drive and utilize forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to utilize pallet jack safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to utilize 2 wheel hand truck safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read labels and delivery tickets to ensure correctness of orders.
  • Ability to lift 60 Lbs.
  • Valid CDL.
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • A Criminal background check must be completed prior to offer of employment.
