We are a meat distributor located in Detroit's historic Eastern Market area. We are currently looking for an individual to fill the role of a biller.
Job duties include:
- Work closely with others to get pick tickets billed out to a customer account.
- Responsible for generating all customer invoices.
- Collect and maintain all original, signed invoice copies in customer's file.
- Be courteous and helpful to all customers and coworkers and obtain immediate assistance for situations needing management involvement.
- Assist with any administrative duties as needed (filing, mail, payments, etc.).
- Maintain a level of personal appearance consistent with the standards set by the company.
Qualifications:
- Previous office experience
- Ability to transact with customers in a respectful manner
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctuality is a must
- Must be a quick learner
- Must be pleasant and easy to work with
This position is a full-time position 5 days a week with rotating Saturdays (every other Saturday). There is also the possibility of working on a Sunday if the candidate chooses to. The position requires a start time of 5:30 am.
