About the Wedding Disc Jockey Position:

As a Wedding and Special Events DJ, you must be reliable, punctual, and able to display a fun personality as you perform the events of a wedding reception and play everyone's requests throughout the evening. You must also be highly organized and detail-oriented in order to provide a seamless, enjoyable, and entertaining evening of music for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• DJ at weddings, in-house signature events, and special celebrations, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests.
• Work closely with clients to understand their musical preferences and create customized playlists.
• Set up and break down DJ equipment, including a small party-type lighting setup, before and after events.
• Maintain a professional and energetic presence throughout each event.
• Adapt to the flow of the event and make on-the-spot changes to keep the energy high and the dance floor full.
• Provide professional emcee duties and help organize and coordinate the day's events in collaboration with event coordinators.

Specific Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a large setting including nightclub, special events, birthday and/or wedding events.
• Own professional mobile DJ standard mixing equipment, including a small party-type lighting setup.
• Proficiency with digital music, computer systems, and DJ software.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for creating memorable and engaging experiences through music.
