A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-time Mechanical Engineering Technician in Brea, CA. The Mechanical Engineering Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Mechanical Engineering Technician Compensation

  • The pay rate for this position is $25 - $33 per hour based on experience and credentials

Schedule:

·       Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

Mechanical Engineering Technician Responsibilities

•        Contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks and develops solutions to routine technical problems of specified scope

•        Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics)

•        Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis

•        Provides completion of technical tasks.

•        Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.

•        Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualifications

•        Works with team to on general lab functions; including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance

•        Notifies manager or team lead upon recognition of factors that may affect project

•        Helps develop prototype processes and test set-ups

•        Executes designed test protocol and conducts testing

•        Effectively documents and communicates test results

•        Supports hardware debugging

Mechanical Engineering Technician Requirements

•        Minimum education requirement is high school diploma

•        Experience in a lab environment (corporate or school) or technician experience in a regulated environment for a minimum of 3 years, experience following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team
