Job Title: Quality Specialist/Quality Technician
Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Reports To: Plant Operations Manager
Hours: Days
Pay: Up to $34/hour, depending upon expertise
As their Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Support the development and implementation of their quality management program
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of ISO9000 standards to incorporate effective quality procedures into day-to-day operations
- With the support of plant leadership, drive the ISO certification and audit processes
- Create and maintain a QMS, writing technical documentation/instructions and run related reports to support quality/process improvement
- Perform visual, in-process inspections to ensure standards are being met
- Train and support production on quality policies/procedures
We're actively seeking skilled Quality professionals with the following background profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field is highly desired. HS/Trade School/Associate's degree in a relevant discipline with equivalent years of experience will also be considered
- ISO 9000 experience is a MUST
- Ability to read, understands blueprints and work instructions.
