Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a reliable and friendly cashier to join our team at our hemp dispensary. As a cashier, you will handle all customer transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Greet customers as they approach the cashier station and ask if they need assistance

- Scan and bag items for customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently

- Answer customer queries regarding products, prices, and availability

- Maintain an organized and clean cashier station

- Assist with inventory management and restocking of products

- Follow all cash handling and inventory management policies and procedures

- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and policies

 

Requirements:

 

- Proven experience as a cashier, preferably in a retail or dispensary setting

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently

- Knowledge of cannabis and hemp products is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
