CDL A Truck Driver with Tanker Endorsement


Location: Pine Bluff, AR
Employment Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $25 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with potential for overtime

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with a tanker attached, in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Transport liquid goods to and from specified destinations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and tanker to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Accurately maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL A license with a tanker endorsement.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CDL A truck driver.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate a CMV for long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
