Job DescriptionJob Description

The Estimator is responsible for the distribution of design documents to qualified subcontractors. Reading and understanding plans and being able to measure and quantify materials based on plans is part of this job. This role includes facilitating the receipt of qualified bids in accordance with all related scopes of work from Division 02 Sitework through Division 16 Electrical & Low Voltage. It is imperative that the Estimator contacts invited subcontractors by phone and email to facilitate the receipt of qualified bids from the subcontractor before or on bid due date. Scoping/leveling bids is required. The Estimator understands current market conditions and reacts accordingly.

 

Requirements:

5-10 years’ experience in Multifamily Apartment Estimating.

Very well versed in MS Excel/Word BlueBeam and Estimating Software.
