County Seat Laundry in Viroqua is hiring a laundry assistant. For 25-30 hours a week, you’ll work alongside other laundry geeks who will train you to use top-of-the-line laundry equipment and proper folding techniques. While you’ll be on your feet for hours at a time and will need to lift heavy bags, the work environment is pretty cool. The music is playing, the AC keeps us comfy and you’ll interact with the happiest customers around. We’ll train the right person. Job Requirements
· Preferably a high school graduate or equivalent.
· Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions.
· Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment.
· Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
· Must be detail-oriented.
· Must be able to move throughout the day, proper body mechanics required—bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders are involved as well as standing for long periods.
· Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
