Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Saint Petersburg, FL

Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Saint Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Repair and replace defective parts, components, and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production staff to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and PLCs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.
