Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an experienced paralegal for our Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy practice. The position can be part or full time. This job would primarily be based out of our Greenwood location.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in bankruptcy petition preparation using Best Case software, knowledge of bankruptcy law and court procedures, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, excellent computer skills.
  • Travel between offices may be required
  • Consumer Bankruptcy Paralegal: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating directly with clients by phone and email, reviewing documents, organizing and maintaining client files, preparing bankruptcy petitions using Best Case Software, Uploading case documents to the Court and Trustee.
