Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to be the resident engineer on-site for civil-structural related work.
  • An immediate project is at the Narrow Electric Power Generating Station in Brooklyn, NY. Where we are overseeing the rehabilitation of a large pier including the encasement of piles below the waterline.
  • Other current project sites include Astoria and Gowanus power plants.
  • The RE will be on-site approximately 2-3 days per week and will oversee the contractor's work as well as coordinating our outside dive inspection consultant.
  • The balance of the time the candidate may be in our office in West Islip, NY or assist on other project sites including Sunrise Wind Converter Station located in Holbrook, NY.

Preferred Experience:

  • Candidate should have an engineering education (PE or EIT not necessary but would be an added benefit).
  • Have field construction or construction oversight experience.

Salary will commensurate with experience.
