Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanical Optical (EMO) Tester to join our team at Southern States LLC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and optical testing principles and procedures, as well as proficiency in operating and maintaining a wide range of test equipment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Conduct electrical, mechanical, and optical tests on a variety of products, including electronic devices, automotive components, and medical equipment
* Analyze test data and identify potential defects or non-conformances
* Prepare detailed test reports and maintain accurate records of all testing activities
* Develop and implement test procedures and protocols
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test equipment and testing processes
* Assist in the design and development of new test methods and procedures
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in electrical, mechanical, and optical testing
* Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and quality control personnel
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and optical testing
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and optical principles and testing techniques
* Proficient in operating and maintaining a wide range of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and optical instruments
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as UL, CSA, and ISO
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
