Job Description: Sales Porter

Optima Dealer Services provides Staffing and Consulting Services to the most luxurious auto Dealerships.


Role Summary:

A Sales Porter is designated to assist the Auto Dealership logistics and support Technicians.

This role requires driving skills, efficient time management, and a positive attitude.


Key Duties:

  • Take cars from Armstrong lot to other dealerships around Orange County/LA/San Diego
  • Get cars from techs to take on miles to make sure they are ready for customer delivery/ ready to be sold.
  • Move cars around when asked by a technician or management at Armstrong and at the dealership.
  • Take New cars from the Armstrong lot to the dealership and Quail lot.
  • Help locate sold units at Armstrong and take them to the dealer for salesman/ management.
  • Locate vehicles and take them to painters (bumper repair) as needed/ Santa Ana/ Caliber on 18th st (Costa Mesa) caliber on Pullman (Irvine)
  • Perform Smog’s Duties
  • Locate wholesale cars and take them from Armstrong to Quail storage for auction pick-up.


Requirements:


  • Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Highly responsible, professional, and reliable.
  • Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
  • Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to Guests and team members.
  • Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
  • Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Willing to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
  • Detail-oriented
