Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures under the guidance of orthopedic surgeons, including joint replacements, arthroscopic surgeries, and fracture repairs.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care in both clinic and hospital settings.
- Perform injections, splinting, and wound care as part of treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Provide patient education regarding orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.
Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Washington state.
- Experience in orthopedics is preferred, but candidates with a strong interest in orthopedics will be considered.
- Proficiency in assisting in orthopedic surgeries and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
