Who we’re looking for: A highly motivated occupational therapist who enjoys "thinking outside the box" and using the evidence to get the best outcomes for kids and families in our birth to 3-year old early intervention programs  If you are a new graduate or newer to pediatrics, we offer a strong mentorship program with seasoned occupational therapists.  

What you’ll do with PPT: Our occupational therapists work with children with a variety of ability levels to help them build skills to successfully engage in their daily routines, including play, social participation, and feeding/eating, amongst others  We also support overall sensory processing skills that lay the foundation for all participation in a child's life.  We utilize evidence-based, child-centered, neurodiversity affirming strategies coupled with a coaching model to help families meet their individual goals for their children.

The caseload for this position is within our birth-3 year old early intervention program. We work directly with families in Schuylkill & Lebanon Counties, and also provide multi-disciplinary evaluations in Berks and Lancaster Counties for children in their home and community settings. You can customize your caseload, hours and geographic catchment area to meet your needs 

Skills PPT therapists possess:

  • Experience working with children, their families & IFSP/educational teams
  • Strong ability to use the evidence to provide effective therapy services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to utilize technology to streamline daily work, such as electronic documentation and billing with PPT, which makes a therapist's life easier
  • Strong understanding how child development
  • Drive and self initiative to keep learning and building your own skill set

Salary: Dependent on experience, starting from $75.00 per hourLicense/Certification and Experience Requirements:

  • PA Occupational Therapy License (Required)
  • At least 1 year experience working with children 
  • Strong mentorship program available for new graduates or those new to pediatrics
