Job Description:
- As an client Data Center Technician, you test and repair data center components using a variety of testing rigs and jigs and record test results in a (WMS) Warehouse Management System.
- You will receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed.
- You will be lifting materials and products as you will be loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations.
- You have basic to intermediate system administration skills and will follow well defined workflows or SOP’s needed to properly test components.
- You are able to execute small projects on your own, and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects.
- You understand all aspects of the equipment you support.
- You know how to innovate and make decisions on his/her own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved.
Daily Schedule:
- Night shift only, 5:00pm-1:30am
- Diagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs
- Recording test results in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)
- Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures
- 100% on-site role
- Working closely with other tech staff

- Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and daily/weekly goals achievement
