Faber-Castell USA is a recognized leader in the writing and drawing field for both adults and children, as well as the children's craft kit industry with our widely acclaimed Creativity for Kids brand of products. Located in our office and distribution center in Independence, OH, Faber-Castell has an opportunity available for a Systems\EDI Administrator possessing the skills and ambition to assist in the support of our IT department. Position is preferably hybrid work. Candidate must be able to function as a part of a global Corporate IT structure.

Responsibilities

·         Perform typical System Administration tasks.

·         Handle day to day EDI operations.

·         Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Desktops, Windows Servers, Networking and Infrastructure equipment, printers, and phone system.

·         Support and train end-users.

·         Ensure network security.

·         Install updates\upgrades.

·         Research and make recommendations on technology initiatives.

·         Work with department heads to streamline operations.

·         Provide after hours on-call support.

·         Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights.

·         Monitor and maintain backups.

Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.

·         3-5 years of related experience.

·         Requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Products and Applications, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.

·         Basic to intermediate knowledge of EDI, AS2, API.

·         Server\Workstation (Primarily Dell) hardware expertise.

·         Problem Solving expertise.

·         Solid understanding of VMware.

·         Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols, i.e. SSL/HTTPs, SMTP, FTP, SSH, DNS, and DHCP.

·         Solid understanding of Networking Concepts and configuration.

·         Office 365 Administration experience preferred.

·         Basic understanding of Firewalls.

·         Basic knowledge of wireless configuration and testing.

·         Basic knowledge of Crystal Reports\SSRS a plus.

·         Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL a plus.

·         Macola\Wisys\SAP experience a plus.

·         SAP rollout experience a plus.

·         Ability to physically lift, pull, push, drag, and carry equipment up to 40lbs by yourself.
